The BCO Benevolence Fund was established in 2005 to provide financial assistance to Landstar BCOs in hardship situations. Under the fund's charter, financial assistance can only be distributed to BCOs who do not have the cash or assets to meet their existing obligations and basic living expenses for their families.
Only Landstar BCOs and truck operators employed by BCOs and the immediate family members of each are eligible to receive assistance from the fund.
